Day 12 - Blading, Building, & Welder

For the photos today I tried to slow down a bit more. I’ve noticed that sometimes the idea of setting the goal of a 100 photos a day makes me focus on the goal instead of the process. Today was a rollerskating day for the kids, so we spent most of our time in the courtyard next to a unique building with a hole in the roof.

Joining in for some of the skating myself briefly though before bringing out the camera. This time trying to play with the idea of motion blur. Since the kids had bright skates on it made for a cool effect. After skating snapped a few portraits of Tile’s double chin & Riccardo before we went to dinner. Right before going into the cafeteria with everyone, I looked up and saw a welder working away across the parking lot. Saw the light from the weld casting his shadow on the building and thought it was pretty cool to see.
