Day 125 - Running into Chongli

Today was the the first training day for half of our athletes in the Chinese Winter Games. I on the other hand spent the day with the other half on the baby slope. While reading that might sound cringe-worthy, we actually had a pretty great time. It’s safe to say that was the longest I have skied with the crew so far. It was super warm and we just took laps the entire day as I tried my best to help them with their tricks. A few of the kids were doing better, but still having some issues with the kids and their timing.

This afternoon, I was able to head into Chongli for a much needed haircut. Starting to look a bit like shaggy over here & was nice to get a change of scenery, even if it was only for a little bit. Even in the past year, Chongli continues to change and grow so much more in anticipation for the winter games.
