SFR Freestyle - Qualifers

Today started out with a very snow packed course for Heat one.  After talking with Willie Borm and Alex Hall who were in heat one, I learned that the first few runs from practice were extremely sketch. Since practice wasn’t going according to plan, we decided to go with Plan B to make the qualifier happen. The Plan B for the event was if the practice didn’t go smoothly, the event organizers would give us additional runs to get comfortable with the course, and then go with a one-run qualifier.

By the time I got up to the course, Heat one had just began their qualifier. Thankfully this was the first day the sun came out, and we had great visiabilty for the rest of Heat one, and the start of practice for Heat two.

After practice was finished, the sun completely covered the course. Even though the weather vastly improved since the first heat, we had one run to make it worth it. Since our heat was already used to the fast conditions,  a lot more people were able to land a run. After practice was finished, the sun completely covered the course.
